Villa Cretole is a two hundred year old independent country house , renovated, and including a spacious two
hectare garden with private pool. The villa is in a delightful position between Tuscany and Umbria and is
surrounded by woods and the green hills which characterize that part of the Val Tiberina. It is an ideal choice
for those who desire a vacation in the freshness of nature, surrounded by characteristic villages like
Monterchi, Sansepolcro, Caprese Michelangiolo and Anghiari.
The villa has modern bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen without losing the sensation of living “in the past”. It has stone walls, faces the sun, and has a fantastic view of the valley.
This splendid stone villa is surrounded by a large and well-looked-after garden where you can eat in the
shade of centuries-old trees, perhaps using the portable BBQ to cook a “fiorentina” steak accompanied by a
glass of Chianti with your friends. A characteristic and intimate corner of the villa is the pergola where you
can relax with an aperitive, a good book and enjoy the lovely view.
The villa has a delightful pool (14 x 7 metres, minimum depth 1,5 metres and maximum 2,5 mts). Open from
01/05 to 01/10). There is also a changeing room and an external shower. The villa offers complete privacy
and is surrounded by closed-in grounds and the owner will take care of everything necessary to permit a
good holiday.
The villa, which has WiFi and airconditioning, was renovated a few years ago and has retained its original,
characteristic architecture, with beams and the floors and walls in stone.
The interior decorating is original and elegant country-chic with all modern comforts. The residence is a
warm, protecting and comfortable nest for family reunions, in which everyone can feel at home and enjoy the
“being together” as well as individual privacy.
The garden is fenced and small pets are welcome
