Situated on the top of a small hill, 155metres above sea level and overlooking the magnificent
scenery which surrounds the city of Volterra, the villa was built in the nearby town of Fabbrica by
one of the noble families of the grand Duchy of Tuscany.Volterra is surrounded by olive groves
and vineyards and has not lost the the authentic aura typical of the whole of Tuscany. The village
developed around the original .tower and sronghold and one of the villas in the area is Villa Il
Borgo. It dates back to the 18 hundreds and is in the elegant Liberty style of the period. It was
restructed many years ago , maintaining the original architectural characteristics. Furnished with
extremely good taste with antique period furniture and ornaments, the villa has a particular
elegance, enriched by precious decorations, paintings and the original vaulted ceilings .
The villa can hold up to 13 guests (10 +3).
