Cooking Class at a Farm in Cortona - CODE: WFCORT04
In a kitchen built where the Chianina cattle lived in the past, learn the authentic Tuscan recipes of Great Grandmother Dinda and Aunt Anna. Starting with pasta: pici, tagliatelle, pappardelle, gnocchi; and then an appetizer with fresh vegetable products from Mama Paola's garden. Also, learn how to cook panzanella, ribollita, pappa al pomodoro, zucchini flowers and more. The recipes are seasonal using fresh products. You can choose your favourite recipe. After the lesson, enjoy the meal you have created accompanied by some good wine.
Approx. 4 hours.
- Short visit to a farm.
- Cooking class (3 or 4 recipes; shared or private).
- Apron, booklet about the art of pecorino and diploma.
- Lunch / dinner (bruschetta, cheese platter including raviggiolo and 3 different types of pecorino, pasta course, ricotta cheese with jam, wine).
- Private transfer from/to your accommodation (optional).

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the TIME OF BOOKING to secure your reservation. The balance is then due 72 hours BEFORE experience beginning.
Bookings made LATER THAN 72 hours BEFORE experience beginning must be paid by lump-sum settlement.
Any cancellation by you must be notified by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will acknowledge your cancellation by email.
Cancellations received UP to 30 days BEFORE experience beginning: 30% CHARGE (deposit).
Cancellations received FROM 30 day TO 15 days BEFORE experience beginning: 50% CHARGE.
Cancellations received LATER THAN 15 days BEFORE experience beginning, late arrivals and no shows: NO REFUND.
This is applicable to any participant that fails to arrive, or arrives after experience beginning.
This experience runs rain or shine.
