Join an intensive traditional Tuscan cooking course! The course develops over 2 days of morning and afternoon sessions comprising 4 half day cooking classes. From the typical “schiacciata”, a kind of flat bread flavoured with extra virgin olive oil and salt to the dessert, passing through the “pasta” world, without forgetting meat and vegetables,you will make a journey through the excellences of the Tuscan products.

 

The course is held at a beautiful abbey in the heart of Chianti Classico. The informal and intimate atmosphere of the abbey’s private dining room, where lunches and dinners are served after the cooking classes, is the perfect frame for a unique experience where fun and professionalism are wisely mixed. The final touch is the selection of the  wines well paired with the prepared menu which brings out flavours and aromas of the food.

 

Programme:


Day 1

from 02:00pm to 06:00pm check in and free time

08:00 pm dinner

Day 2 and 3

From 08:00am to 10:00am - rich buffet breakfast

10am (on day 2 only) - guided tour of the abbey

10:30am - the morning cooking class starts

01:00-01:30 pm - lunch in the owner’s private dining room

In the afternoon some free time for a swim in thelarge outdoor pool, a stroll through the monumental renaissance gardens or a walk in the pristine forests which are criss-crossed by walking paths

05:30pm - the afternoon cooking class starts

08:00pm - dinner in the owner’s private dining room

Day 4

Breakfast and check out

 

Each cooking class will have a different menu. Vegetarian and vegan dishes on request as well as special dishes for guests with food allergies or intolerances.

 

What's included:

  • 3 night stay in a double (twin on request) bedroom (city tax not included, € 1,50/night per person)
  • rich buffet breakfast every morning
  • 4 cooking classes with lunch and dinner afterwards. During lunch and dinner a selection of organic wines as well as Vinsanto and grappa are served.
  • 1 dinner at the restaurant (of the resort)
  • guided tour of the abbey
  • apron, recipes, diploma
  • The package DOES NOT include: city tax (€ 1,50/night per person), any transfer to/from, anything else not mentioned here above.

Payments: A deposit of 160 € per person is requested to confirm the booking. The balance is payable 83 days prior to the arrival day.


Cancellation fees

Cancellation received by us up to 84 days prior to arrival day: nothing will be due but the deposit.
Cancellations received by us from 83 to 32 days prior to arrival date: 60% of the total amount is due.
Cancellations received by us 31 days or less prior to arrival date: 100% of the total amount is due.
