Amongst the green hills of Montecatini Terme, a city famous for centuries for its thermal waters
and consequential famous visitors, Villa Maona is an antique 18th century villa which has been
completely restored internally. It has been furnished with all modern comforts to permit the guests
to enjoy their relaxation in what is, however, a completely authentic atmosphere. The Villa has its
own private park with swimming pool 9×4 deep1.5, olive groves and cypress trees, and a
magnificent view of the original antique village of MontecatininAlto and of Montecatini Terme
itself.
The Villa owes its name to the Grotto Maona frequented by visitors and guided tours. From the
Villa it is possible to make numerous trips to places of interest, from the beaches of Versilia to the
antique monumental cities of Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca, as well as the numerous vineyards of
the area for wine tastings.From the outside the villa presents itself as an antique Tuscan
farmhouse, facing South and consequently always sunny.
