Immerse yourself in the easy-going and vintage atmosphere of the historical “L’Ardita” bike race, exploring Arezzo area, an authentic and charming hidden part of Tuscany.
L’Ardita Historical Bike Race, starting from and ending in Piazza Grande, the hearth of the historic center of the town of Arezzo, through the Alpe di Poti, which has been a leg of Giro d’Italia 2016 and importance races in the 70s and 80s.
On Saturday and Sunday, it will take place the “Mostrascambio”, a fair dedicated to velocipedes and spare parts. It will be also possible to assist to presentations of the industry trends, try the latest gravel bikes and e-bikes and taste the best local products.
“L’Ardita” has three routes.
The first, easy 30km-route is called “Gourmet” and is aimed at people who want to discover the beauty of the area as well as to savor some local delicacies.
The “Classic” route is 50km long and is more challenging since it reaches the Casentino Valley.
The 80km route “L’Ardita” includes the classic route and the Alpe di Poti time trial.
